It Started in a Little Red House
Charlie Rose Baseball first opened its doors in 1958, in a little red house in the heart of downtown Campbell, California. Charlie Rose — who also served his community as Campbell's Mayor and a city councilman — came from a Portuguese family with deep roots in the Campbell Pruneyards.
The family business evolved with the times: it began in groceries, moved into Zenith TV repair and bulbs, and finally found its true calling in sporting goods and baseball in 1958. From that little red house, a baseball institution was born.
